For her academic promotion M.U. wrote a dissertation on jewellery. M.U.’s husband wanted to memorialize this. The brooch I designed for M.U. cites her dissertation, which contained plain text, no images. The perspective is in the letters, created by M.U.’s husband, a professional type designer.
